Meet Brigitta

Hi, I’m Brigitta Szeibert, MSPH, RD, the registered dietitian behind Feed the Body.

I’m deeply passionate about women’s health — especially the nutrition that shapes the first 1,000 days of life (from conception to a child’s second birthday). This window is one of the most powerful times for growth, development, and lifelong health — and caring for moms during this season is just as important as caring for their babies.

Philosophy / Approach

My approach blends the science of nutrition with the realities of everyday life. Whether you’re supporting fertility, managing hormone imbalances, navigating pregnancy, or adjusting postpartum, I’m here to help you feel informed, confident, and nourished — not overwhelmed.

I focus on practical, sustainable strategies: helping women who’ve never had a positive relationship with food discover one that finally feels peaceful. Together, we build routines — from simple meal prep ideas to realistic nutrition strategies — that fit your life, energy levels, and family rhythm.

Specialties

I work 1:1 with women in all stages of life, including:

  • Hormone Health: PCOS, thyroid disorders, endometriosis, irregular cycles

  • Pre-Conception & Fertility Support

  • Pregnancy & Postpartum Nutrition

  • Busy Moms Seeking Practical Tips and Support

Education and Experience

I hold a Master’s in Public Health Nutrition from Johns Hopkins University, completing the Registered Dietitian Coordinated Program with a capstone on the primary prevention of micronutrient deficiencies during pregnancy in low-resource U.S. settings. My academic and research experience has focused on maternal and early childhood nutrition, breastfeeding, and early feeding practices, giving me a strong foundation in evidence-based care for women across all life stages.

Professionally, I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing in-person and telehealth nutrition care. I gained hands-on medical nutrition therapy experience at the California Rehabilitation Institute, a joint venture of UCLA and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, managing chronic illness through nutrition therapy. I also provided outpatient care with Nourish, specializing in women’s health, prenatal, and postpartum nutrition via telehealth.

Across all settings, my goal is to combine my clinical expertise, research knowledge, and practical strategies to empower clients to achieve their health goals with confidence and clarity.

What to Expect

At Feed the Body, my goal is simple: provide personalized, evidence-based care that helps you move from feeling frustrated to feeling confident, capable, and connected to your body and your food.

Every session is telehealth, 1:1, and designed to fit your life. You’ll receive guidance that is practical, sustainable, and rooted in science, while honoring your goals and lifestyle.

A Little About Me

When I’m not working with patients, you’ll usually find me cooking in the kitchen, exploring farmers markets, swimming in the ocean, traveling, or spending time with family.

I believe food should be joyful, not stressful — and that caring for your body is one of the most empowering things you can do. Can’t wait to meet you!
